EP Hafstein was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 1951. He is a teacher and researcher focused on light and sound and their effects on humans. Originally trained as a teacher in Iceland, he later pursued further studies in Sweden, where he studied Education and the ancient language Sanskrit. After completing his education, he taught in both Sweden and Iceland. Hafstein has translated and interpreted the scripture Bhagavad Gita from Sanskrit, incorporating his translation into many of his articles.
